What is GreenZyme®?

GreenZyme® is a water based, inert, enzyme molecule concentrate that facilitates the change of adhesion behavior affecting Polar & Viscous Forces of attached crude by adsorbing into the substrate surface. Enzyme Fluid Technology is a Hydrocarbon Separator Solution that increases the mobility of oil and reservoir fluids.

ABOUT

Mechanism

GreenZyme® EEOR solution catalyzes reactions between the oil, the rock formation and water.

Acting on Polar Forces, it has been proven to reduce Interfacial Tension and change Wettability

to Mobilize remaining oil.

GreenZyme® changes the adhesion behavior of oil to non-adhesion, prompting oil to slide off formation rock or sand. Biodegradable and Environmentally Friendly.

Compatible with Single Wells - Waterflooding Systems - WAG - Steam - Heavy Oil - SAGD - Smart Water

Mature wells with a continuous decline in recent years. Wells with clogging or problems and/or accelerated increase in the water cut. New wells with rapid decline in production.

Environments of high temperature & any salinity

Restricted wells due to paraffin build up, formation damage, low permeability due to mobility of oil.

VENEZUELA
GreenZyme EOR Venezuela Treatment

In 2000, La Salina Oil Field, located around Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela, had many blocked, under performing wells.  Well TJ-1319 was chosen to receive multiple treatments of GreenZyme® Technology for EOR and to test whether the recovery factor would increase after each treatment.  GreenZyme® had already established success in single treatment applications, but prior to this pilot, no multiple applications of a single well with GreenZyme® had been recorded in South America.

 

After treatment, initial fluid production increased with produced water being extracted first, followed by oil production. Treatments effectively removed wellbore blockage for improved permeability. Increased recovery was maintained above the baseline as long as 12+ months, before starting to decline. GreenZyme® was found to be effective in any type of oil environment (heavy, medium, light).   

 

Multiple applications of GreenZyme® yielded significant increases in production following each treatment, with no negative effects. Over a 16 year span, TJ1319 received 6 applications of GreenZyme®. Each time TJ1319 was treated with GreenZyme® it yielded an increase in BOPD. The first 5 treatments saw a daily average production increase of 335% and a total of 608,000 barrels of additional oil in the first 8 years.

Water Based Additive works with any pH level, Salinity, & Temperature in the formation. It provides a solution to the presence paraffins, naphthatenes, asphaltenes, and/or sulfur in any amount. Immune to the presence of chemicals, ASP, Metallic Ions & Radio-active isotopes.
